We understand that finding the right home for your loved one can be difficult and confusing, That is why we are to help and advise you on each step of the way in order to ensure that you have all the relevant information you need throughout this sometimes stressful transition period. To help, we carry out a full assessment on prospective residents so that we know that we can meet their needs. It is not in anyone's interest for a resident to choose what may not be the right home for them.
Our Person Centred Care Plan is designed to understand the individual and see as much as possible through their eyes. We like to get to know our residents as much as possible and we always enjoy reading the Life Books and looking at the photograph albums with the residents. These individual care plans with objectives for each area of health and social contact, such as personal care, daily routine, dietary needs,behaviour apperns, and likes and dislikes, prove to be the best possible way to care for your loved ones.
The Registered Manager oversees the smooth running of the Home and each shift is run by a senior carer and a team of carers. A Nurse call System, Floor Mat or Door Sensor will alert our carers when a resident may be in need of assistance. Daily activities are recorded for each resident and every month we carry out a full Person Centred Care Review to which members of the family are encouraged to attend.
In addition to providing the right individual level of care, the Home operates a 'Quality System' feedback from residents, their families and outside professionals through the annual survey.
